Independent reading Monday-Friday
Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl- Part 1 p. 1-36 Students will research facts about Anne Frank, WWII and the Nazi Party before starting the novel, Anne Frank the Diary of a Young Girl. We will also take notes during a PowerPoint presentation. Finally, the students will assemble an Anne Frank flip book. See notes and printables for worksheets.
We will no longer complete a weekly bellringer. Students are required to bring a silent reading book for daily independent reading.
Literature: We will finish reading, A Retrieved Reformation- plot map, finding evidence worksheet and quiz. Then we'll begin All Summer in Day- anticipation guide, comprehension questions and plot map |
